We are closed.
2) We are now on WINTER HOURS. That means we will be closing at 6pm (rather than 7). So, say it with me now, the hours going forward will be: 11-6 Tues-Fri, 12-6 Sat, No Sun/Mon.
3) We are open this Friday from 11-6. No special sale, no crazy markdowns. Well, Berns are all 20% off actually so there is that but it goes till they are gone.
4) Saturday we will be opening late. 3pm-6pm.

Yeah, its been super busy here behind the scenes at Defiance. Big things happening, good things. Things that make it hard to remember to update the website. We are a stocking All-City dealer now, these bikes are too legit to quit. We are also a stocking Xtracycle dealer and have both sizes of EdgeRunner IN STOCK NOW for testing, riding, perhaps even buying. And lots of Surly’s moving through the shop as usual. Rest assured, Defiance is cruising into a really exciting fall/winter season, so stay tuned. Or just come to the shop, where the real action is. Its peak summer out there, and we are staying cool in these Merino wool T’s from Chrome. Available in a crew or v-neck, we have all sizes in stock right now! These are one of the best priced Merino t’s out there @ $70, but for the month of July we are knocking them down to $56 (20% off!).

Just got word of this cool event coming up in a couple of weeks at the Tacoma Public Library. “The Lost Cyclist” is the story of a round-the-world bicycle tour back in 1890, and the lost rolls of film found 120 years later!!! This should be an interesting presentation for anyone interested in photography, history, bicycles, or any combination of those things!

Made from Merino wool, these are super soft and offer great year round temperature control here in the Pacific Northwest. They are $95ea (or $90 if you prefer short sleeves). If you want one, get in touch, we are doing these as a pre-order only item due to the high cost of making them. The next order goes in on Friday (May 3rd), so jump on it!
